Summer Camp FAQs
Q: Does my child have to be age 9 at the start of the camp?
A: We know that there has been a little confusion on the age from the livingsocial.com campaign, therefore we are honoring registrations with kids who are in the 2nd-5th grade and 6th-12th as stated on the ad.
Q: Can my child be in the camp if they are GOING INTO the 2nd grade this next school year?
A: No. The child must be at the end of their 2nd grade year. Meaning, they just completed 2nd grade and are going into the third next school year. However, if you believe that your 1st grader has EXTREME TALENT in the arts and you believe they would be able to comprehend an intense summer camp, then please contact twoods@artportunityknocks.org.
Q: I am a teen who loves to dance. Does your camp provide living arrangements for teens coming from out of town?
A: No. Although we may do so in the near future.
Q: If I purchase the camp through livingsocial.com promotion week, are there any additional fees that I have to pay?
A: Yes. There is a ONE-TIME $50 registration fee due on the first camp and will take care of your camper for the entire 5 weeks!
Q: Can I purchase the camp voucher after the livingsocial.com campaign has ended?
A: No. The 50% pricing is exclusively available through livingsocial.com and will expire on May 15, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.
Q: Can I use my voucher to purchase more than 1 camp week?
A: Yes. The voucher can be used for up to 2 weeks for the same child.
Q: When is the livingsocial.com deal running for the summer camp?
A: The campaign will be running from Monday, May 9th 5:00 a.m.- Sunday, May 15, 2011 11:59 p.m. after such, there will be no additional opportunity to purchase the camp at that pricing.
Q: Why do I have to pay a $50 registration fee if I just paid $99 for the camp voucher?
A: Good Question. The camp voucher pays for the specialize training your child will receive through the duration of the camp from certified professionals in their fields. The $50 registration fee covers supplies, t-shirt, and administrative costs to run the camp.
